Spotlight: The Human Project: Stories & Symbols

When I first started working on The Human Project:, I had no idea how much it would teach me about myself and the world around me. What began during the quiet stillness of the pandemic turned into a deeply personal exploration of connection, resilience, and the beauty of shared human experiences.

This book was born out of a desire to reflect on those fleeting, often overlooked moments—the joy of being with loved ones, the growth that sneaks in during solitude, and the stories that shape us all. It’s a tribute to the people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned, and the creative process that helped me make sense of it all.

The Stories Behind The Human Project

At its core, this book is about five remarkable individuals whose stories have left an indelible mark on me. These aren’t just profiles—they’re deeply human narratives, blending personal truths and fictional elements to create something that feels real and universal.

Each story is paired with pen-and-ink illustrations I created during moments of quiet reflection. These drawings, combined with vibrant, stylized digital art, bring the stories to life in a way that feels both intimate and visually striking.

A Labor of Love

This wasn’t a project I rushed. Over five years, The Human Project grew and evolved, shaped by my love for storytelling and art. Each page reflects countless hours of care and thought, and my hope is that it feels as special to read as it did to create.

An Invitation to Reflect and Connect

More than just a book, The Human Project is a celebration of humanity. It’s an invitation to sit with these stories, reflect on your own, and share the experience with the people you care about.

If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to join me on this journey. You can get your copy here:

Final Thoughts

This project taught me that storytelling and art have the power to connect us in ways words alone cannot. The Human Project: Stories & Symbols is my way of sharing that connection with you.

I hope you find a piece of yourself in these pages. And if you do, I’d love for you to share it with someone else—because that’s what The Human Project is all about.
