Art doesn’t belong to an industry, it belongs to the people…

Dear Angels,

Art is a form of communication, a tool for cooperation, a sword of truth, a weapon of manipulation. Yet, at its core, art is – Divine.

In my lowest ebbs and darkest hours, art has been my escape, as it has for countless others. Back then, I failed to realize that in those moments, I was communing with beings and channeling ideas and concepts not yet manifest – thus, divine. My escape was a seeking of solace in energies that held sacred space for me in realms residing within the mind. I transmuted their guidance into every stroke laid upon paper…a practice known as self-teaching. This quickly transformed into seeking their counsel in every other facet of my life. I am a self-taught artist, but in many ways, I simply channeled divine knowledge until I mastered this one specific area that is art.

Art is the gateway, the veil we peek behind to glimpse the unseen as we manifest it into reality through our physical vessels. It is a deeply spiritual process that has been bastardized by capitalism, thus rendering many artists blind to their inherent powers and gifts. This may sound rather “woo-woo,” as the boomers would say, but it rings true.

I posit that it is a fundamental flaw for the art industry to exist, for it highlights how profoundly misunderstood art is, and by extension, artists themselves. As creators clamor for a shot at the spotlight, they lose sight of their divinity and thus cease seeing themselves clearly.

Or perhaps I am painfully mistaken, and the industry does, in fact, understand the true nature of art, its worth, its value, and still chooses to minimize it for an ego trip. That would explain why the works of deceased artists hold more value. I can almost envision the sadistic smirk upon the industry’s countenance as another star falls, their creations ripe for the taking and draining. Ah, the joys of co-existing with our fellow lovely human people.

The only path forward that will truly benefit artists is to fully integrate the understanding that art is divine, and every time you create something that never existed prior, you are performing alchemy of the highest order. In this critical juncture, your intentions are of utmost importance, lest the result be the world we experience today.

With pure love,
Chu
