Astrology
I remember the first time I read about the characteristics of a Pisces. I was completely caught off guard by how accurate it was. So, I wasn’t some unique, enigmatic, one-of-a-kind being after all? Who I am was, apparently, scripted by the stars. Worse yet, there might actually be others out there just as wildly unpredictable as I am. True? Yes. But also… not entirely.
As it turns out, I’m not just a Pisces. I discovered I have a Leo moon, too. Suddenly, everything started to click—the way people often push me into leadership roles, or why I sometimes come across as teetering on the edge of confident and cocky. That’s just my Leo moon flexing its cosmic muscles.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’ve read plenty of opinions and characteristics about various signs, and I’ve realized something: astrology isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. While I can relate to a lot of Pisces and Leo traits, there are aspects of other signs that don’t resonate with me at all. Astrology, like life, isn’t perfect—it’s nuanced.
So, let’s break this down (without me giving away all the juicy details of my astrological chart, of course).
At the exact moment of your birth, the stars and planets were arranged in a unique cosmic configuration based on your location. And here’s the kicker: none of it was random. That celestial alignment holds a map—call it your guide to an ideal life, or maybe even your destiny.
The zodiac comprises 12 signs, and by now, most people know their sun sign. Some people shrug it off as nonsense; others see it as something ominous (demonic, even, if you ask certain circles). But here’s the deal: your zodiac sign, determined by the month you were born, embodies distinct characteristics and energy that influence your presence here on Earth.
And yes, there are people who can read this. It’s one of the most fascinating feats of human intuition and potential, if you ask me. From astrology, you can uncover your ideal career path, navigate challenges, identify your toxic traits (and learn to manage them), and even figure out the type of partner best suited for you. The insights are endless, and when used for personal growth, astrology can be a powerful tool for enlightenment.
Every human has an astrological chart, as unique as a thumbprint. It’s a snapshot of the stars and planets at the moment you were born, and this cosmic blueprint paints a bigger picture of who you are, who you’ve been, and who you’re destined to become. You see where I’m going with this?
Unfortunately, astrology has faced skepticism and criticism since ancient times. In Rome, while astrology was popular among many, it also encountered opposition and was sometimes associated with superstitions.
In Africa, traditional astrological practices existed, but colonial influences often suppressed indigenous knowledge systems, including astrology.
But astrology, at its core, is a key to self-discovery. It’s not just a horoscope in the back of a magazine—it’s a way to navigate life’s complexities and rediscover the essence of who you are.
With love,
Chu

I realized it doesn’t make me special. Every single one of us is born with an immense amount of genius…
This post is deeply personal, but I feel I owe it to the younger versions of myself to write it….
